Uses of Vacuum Annealing Furnace

The vacuum annealing furnace we designed and developed is mainly used for vacuum annealing heat treatment of transformer cores and inductor cores. After annealing the core without oxidation, eliminate internal stress, reduce iron loss.

Operation Process of Vacuum Annealing Furnace

Structure of Vacuum Annealing Furnaces

​1. Vacuum Annealing Furnace Shell​
The vacuum Annealing furnace shell is fabricated using δ=10mm Q235 steel plate. The furnace door flange is made of δ=40mm Q235 steel plate, machined and formed with a seal groove and equipped with a silicone sealing ring cooling water jacket. The exterior of the furnace shell is welded with evenly distributed channel steels, integrating an inlet water distribution assembly and a return water collection assembly. A cooling fan is installed at the rear of the furnace shell. The furnace base is welded with three rows of nut supports for material car tracks. The vacuum chamber side is equipped with a vacuum connection pipe, condenser, manual valves, anti-vibration vacuum pressure gauges on connecting pipes, and manual gas charging/discharging devices. The furnace body includes thermocouples, lead-out rods, copper busbar connections, copper clamps, and sealing devices.

​2. Furnace Door​
The furnace door flange and arched plate are made of Q235 steel. The arched plate is externally covered with a δ=10mm Q235 steel water jacket. The arched plate, water jacket, and door flange are integrally welded with reinforcement. A thermal insulation screen made of stainless steel 310S is installed inside the arched plate, fixed with stainless steel screws. The steel plate is filled with alumina-silicate high-alumina blanket insulation and features air vents. The door is manually opened and equipped with a manual locking device. The furnace door and vacuum chamber are sealed with silicone sealing rings (operable at ≤200°C).

​3. Heating Chamber Liner​
The heating chamber liner frame is constructed from stainless steel square tubes. The interior is lined with insulation layers covered by stainless steel plates on both sides. The insulation layers use alumina-silicate high-alumina blankets, secured with stainless steel screws for thermal expansion accommodation. Stainless steel plates are connected in small segments to reduce deformation. Heating is provided by Cr20Ni80 nickel-chromium resistance flat strips mounted on 95 ceramic insulators with expansion joints, ensuring rigidity and reliability. Three heating zones (9 groups) control the furnace interior. The liner front includes a thermal insulation screen and flow guide device with air vents. The lower section has three rows of heat-resistant steel track supports and rollers for material cars. Tracks are fixed to stainless steel supports and rails via helical joints. Two rows of stainless steel rollers are installed on both sides of the liner.

​4. Material Car and Transfer System​
The material car and transfer system uses structural steel with two sets of motor-driven gear reducers (mechanical sprocket transmission), each equipped with electric brakes (one for car movement, one for material car transfer). Pre-installed tracks (user-provided) guide the car. The car has four wheels per side, and the material basket ( upper/lower layers) is made of 304 stainless steel (80×8mm bars). A three-row roller system and front coupling hooks facilitate movement.

​5. Vacuum Unit​
A vacuum pump and Roots blower are connected via pipes with solenoid valves. Thermocouple gauge tubes transmit pressure signals to the vacuum gauge, which automatically controls pump start/stop based on set pressure limits.

​6. Fan​
A water-cooled sealed motor fan is included.

​7. Electrical Control System Cabinet​
A. Touchscreen + PID with program control (non-one-button start).
B. SCR (Silicon-Controlled Rectifier) output with ±2°C control accuracy.
